Magnesium for Heavy Metal Detoxification
We come in contact and involuntarily consume heavy metals throughout our daily routines. Through our tap water- drinking and bathing, deodorants and other body products, medications, low quality supplements, contaminated foods, and even our soil and air. It seems like absolutely everything we come in contact with is polluted or contaminated and that there is no way to escape. When heavy metals build up in your body to toxic levels, it can lead to cancer, heart disease, autism, and Alzheimer's disease. It is super important to detox regularly through sweating and eating chelating foods that will bind to the metals so that you can eliminate these toxins through your kidneys and then urine or through your liver and then feces. Please make sure not to block your armpits with commercial deodorants. Most commercial deodorants contain aluminum which is a heavy metal to be avoided, but even aluminum-free options contain other chemicals and ingredients that are still blocking your sweat glands. When you block your sweat glands, you are trapping these toxins in your body and they are being pushed back into your lymphatic system and into the breast tissue which can lead to breast cancer. Breast cancer in men has been increasing slowly but steadily by 1% every year since 2012. Fun fact: Perspiration does not smell unless you are toxic. Make sure to exercise, or sauna daily without deodorant and consume plenty of natural chelators.
Magnesium is great at chelating (binding to) lead and mercury. Other natural chelators are cilantro, fulvic acid, glysine, sulfur, chlorella, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, dates, and garlic. Using topical magnesium daily can help your body detox out these heavy metals so that you can thrive and function optimally.
