I grew up in 1990s America — a time when a packet of ketchup was officially recognized as a serving of vegetables and 'nourishment' often came from a microwave. Hustle-culture was at its peak, stress was normalized, and my mom was a single parent working too hard with too little support. We did not have the tools for emotional regulation or self-care. As a child, I experienced trauma that shaped how I moved through the world. By my twenties, I was deep in survival mode — navigating chronic illness, toxic relationships, and a body that felt like it was constantly breaking down. I struggled with chronic infections, digestive and thyroid issues, mercury poisoning, chronic fatigue, and a menstrual cycle in chaos. I tried every prescription and protocol, but nothing helped — until I began looking inward.
I started therapy, including EMDR, and began working with a somatic practitioner. I learned to regulate my hormones naturally, cleanse my body, and heal my nervous system. Slowly, my symptoms faded. I got my cycle back. My energy returned, and for the first time, I felt whole.
When I became pregnant in 2023, caring for my body became sacred. It deepened my commitment to wellness and transformed the way I listened to what my body truly needed. I immersed myself in healing—addressing the root causes of my symptoms, healing my gut, and saying goodbye to IBS and Hashimoto’s. Along the way, I searched for natural ways to ease pain, calm inflammation, and finally sleep—especially something safe for pregnancy. But nothing I found felt right. So I created what I couldn’t find: a clean, filler-free magnesium spray, made for deep support and designed with motherhood in mind.
Postpartum brought its own challenges: sciatica, prolapse, and diastasis. My spray became essential to my recovery — and when I started sharing it, others felt the same.
I launched Ozco Goods in early 2025 to share this ritual with more people. I'm now studying to become a certified Naturopathic Practitioner and Nutritionist, and I’m so grateful to walk alongside others who are reclaiming their health with softness, strength, and intention.
Warmest wishes,
Amanda
